OTTAWA -- September 23, 1998 -- The Canadian Transportation Agency will conduct a technical information session on Wednesday, September 30, 1998, about its decision concerning the complaint made by the Canadian Wheat Board against the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. This is a session where reporters will be in lock-up.
The technical information session will take place in the Galileo Room of the Radisson Hotel, 405 Twentieth Street East, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The session will begin at 9:30 am and will finish at 11:00 am. Reporters entering the room will be given a copy of the decision. No cameras, cellular telephones or recording devices will be permitted in the room. Reporters who enter the room will be required to stay there until 11:00 am (Saskatoon time).
Agency staff will be present to answer technical questions concerning the decision and the Agency's hearing processes and procedures. The decision will be made public at 11:00 am Saskatoon time on the Agency Internet site at: www.cta-otc.gc.ca.
